Our project finally concluded with a successful exhibit in Christoph’s hometown of Charlottesville, VA.
The show coincided with the LOOK3 Festival of the Photograph, one of the top photography gatherings in the country.
Displaying the following 23 images along with the video vignettes, we shared our adventures and presented the rich and fascinating stories of Fulani culture.

Many thanks to Cat Thrasher Photography for hosting our exhibit at her gallery in downtown Charlottesville!
Friends, family, and supporters – thanks for coming to the opening!
Now this phase of the project has truly concluded, as Guida resumes coursework at the University of Abomey-Calavi and Christoph heads to the Central African Republic to work for the ICRC. Thanks for reading, and again, please don’t hesitate to send us your photo-essays or articles about Fulani culture!
thanks for following,
Christoph and Guida
